An entertaining and enjoyable book. I was intrigued and invested in the story and the characters and found the concept of alternate universes and the dreamworm an interesting and cool idea especially the fact it’s a parasite. Thoroughly disliked Jo, what an awful selfish person and often disliked Bridge but feel she ultimately wasn’t a bad person. My most liked character was Dom. I found the elements of murder/torture unpleasant and on the verge of being too much but I am super sensitive to that sort of thing.
The audiobook narrator really wasn’t great, felt low quality and the accents were atrocious. Not a book I’ll be thinking about for ages afterwards but an enjoyable read in a genre I enjoy.
Moderate: Torture, Murder, and Gun violence
