Laugh out loud funny at times but also uneven. The dance battle between The Black Employees had me in tears but the ideas in How To Be A Black President were too obvious . . . or something. But I am now following Baratunde on Twitter!

I found this book to be mildly amusing. I probably couldn't relate because I'm white and have never had a particular desire to be black.

Poignant and hilarious. Not what you'd expect, necessarily, but exactly what it should have been.

Hilarious and insightful and unequivocally black. I laughed out loud! More than once! Everyone in America should read this book. Seriously.

Hilarious. Informative. Taught a section of it in my freshman English class. (Had to skip the how to be the next black president chapter because it just hurt too much.)

Enjoyed this- wanted more. Part memoir, part smart point of view satire, part "I got a book contract for an idea that I can't possibly cover in the kind of detail that I want to do... This chapter will do for now"

Thought-provoking, insightful, and had an amusing tone... A "must read" book for anyone and everyone.

Laugh out loud funny but with very smart, pointed social commentary on race in America. I read it for my book group and I'm so glad I did.
