There were parts that I liked that kept me going, but in the end the main character was just too inconsistent for me. >.>

Interesting idea, but unfortunately the writing is unimaginative.

I had been putting off reading this for a long time, because my expectations for it were not that high, no offense to the author. I was surprised at how quickly it drew me in; the story, the characters, and the dialogue all go together very well. I loved it so much that I had a hard time waiting to get the next book. Definitely something I'd want to read again.

Cute, very not serious which was what I was in the mood for yesterday morning. Very speedy read (about 3 hours or so).

I enjoyed this book. I must admit that I thought the romance was a little lacking . . . part of that might simply be because I knew how I wanted the romance to go and it didn’t go the way I wanted. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, I thought the book was intriguing and interesting. It was a nice easy/light read after the heavy topics I have been reading lately.

Lowe end of three stars.

It’s well written, but a lot more could’ve have happened with all the plot points going for it. The whole book just seemed anticlimactic compared to what I expected from the blurb.
Maybe the second will be better, if I can be bothered to read it.

"Princess Contessa's dreams of living happily ever after marrying a prince are shattered when her "parents" reveal that she's actually a street urchin they raised as their daughter to thwart assassins from their real target." (From Amazon)

I enjoyed this fantasy adventure with suspense, humour and romance. I am looking forward to the second book.

The overall story wasnt bad, but the world building, relationships and writing fell pretty damn flat. It was close to being a book I just didnt finish.

I couldn't find this book in any of my libraries and couldn't remember how this ended up on my to read list. I got the sample from Amazon and the first three chapters weren't enough to catch my attention.
