Read this to Little One tonight. Being a week old I'm not sure she totally appreciated Amelia' antics but it was a fun late night read that took me back to my childhood.

This is one of my favorite childhood books and one I've read many many times. 

This book has Amelia Bedelia learning to play baseball and help out the neighborhood boys, but, as in typical Amelia Bedelia style, chaos ensues in the process. 

This book never fails to make me laugh and the illustrations are a lovely addition to show the shenanigans play out as you read. 

Definitely one I'll reread over and over again.

Reading Amelia Bedelia to my kids definitely had me remembering when my Mom read to me as a kid. Lots of nostalgia!

I loved reading Amelia Bedelia books as a young child, and I read several of them again as a teenager when I worked at a library. This is one of the ones I remember reading. My favorite part was when the kids told her to "run home!"
