Loved Hilo from the beginning. Kind of thought someone of import was going to die. It happened to be Lan. This kid Bero is getting on my nerves. I’m worried for Anden, but hopeful for Hilo and Shae’s relationship.

I’ve never read anything like this and I feel like I just binged a Netflix series. One turn after another I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. My rating says something because I’m really a Jane Austen fan so this genre is new to me. I’m so impressed.

I seriously love a couple of the characters and am enjoying the direction of the plot! Looking forward to the next couple. :)

Not a huge fan of this book. I found the world building sub par and the characters very unidimensional. Both these aspects led me to care very little for the story. I don’t expect to continue the series.
