The suspense was great.. but I was kinda disappointed with the way the story turned out. I also felt it was like a classic 1980 kinda of story with classic unsolved crimes that you would usually read about or watch on T.V. documentaries...

DNF
Starting off with pedophillia and animal killing isn’t my cup of tea.

I didn't love it, but it was entertaining to read. The book was a little too straightforward as a mystery/thriller for me, which is probably due to it flipping between characters and being told in the first person. The best part was probably the end of the first part, the rest was predictable (and a little repetitive). If you don't mind predictability in your mystery/thriller, the book is good.

"Waiting to get caught and waiting to feel bad. Neither had happened yet, and I knew that neither would."
