I liked this one a little less than the other two in the Series. The Chaos Curse had a little too much going on. I enjoyed this series initially because of all the references to Indian mythology, and the strong, diverse female lead character. But this book added ALL the fairy tale/folk tales and children’s books ever made so it just started to be too much. I am still going to add it to my classroom library for the kids who have already started the series as well, and it did have some good parts...I did like the ending! Kiran is still a great, strong character! It also left you with some questions ...like, “where did her dad go? Overall it was pretty good, just not my favorite in the series.

Ok so this was very different from the first two books in the series. It was very political I guess. It got to the point where it was kind of off-putting. It didn't have the same fantasy vibes and it wasn't as fun. I probably would have dnfed this if I read it as a physical book. It was still a good book. The vibes were just very off.

The plot thickens! Kiranmala and her crew take on the Anti-Chaos Committee to save the multiverse.

What a strong conclusion to the series - and my personal favorite.

This was a very fun third book in the Kingdom Beyond series. Lots of clever references to a variety of tales from Little Miss Muffet to the Wizard of Oz to the Princess Bride. Highly recommended for fans of Rick Riordan, grades 4 & up. It's better to read the series in order.

I really enjoyed the basis of this of this story (or stories) but Kiran really annoyed me.

At times, it got a little too silly or unsubtle, and in some parts the plot dragged on and it felt passive. Otherwise, it was a good book. I was a little confused at the conflation of the Kingdom Beyond with real-life Bengali India, though.

I feel like I say the same thing every time I finish one of Sayantani DasGupta's books: I wish I had books like this when I was 12! I love them. They remind me of my childhood and all the different stories that were read to me. I loved that this book not only included traditional Bengali stories but all sorts of other stories and mythology from around the world. Loved this book and I look forward to reading more.
