This book has beautiful illustrations but lacks solid ground on the topic. It should give more whole-rounded info on the poisonous fungi because there are a lot of poisonous fungi signs that are not included here. I think the ability to differentiate between poisonous and edible fungi is the most important output that should be considered. Definitely not a children's book but if used for educational purposes, readers should use other sources too.

A wonderful wealth of information and pictures. The only one issue is that it is highly unlikely ergot was to blame for the behaviour of the Salem trials in the 17th century.
