This author is just not my jam. I cannot get into it at all. Hated Wicked too. (Sorry)

I can't believe there are negative reviews of this book. It's so sweet and whimsical and hilarious.
It's just FUN. If I thought Falon would give it a try, I would renew it and hand it over for her enjoyment. The stories are beautifully retold with the animal characters, and the added snarkiness is just too much fun.
I don't know which of the stories is my favorite. Little Red Robin Hood was a top one, because I didn't make the connection to Robin Hood until it said he wanted to rob from the rich birds and give to the poor birds. Heh. Hamster and Gerbil, with the house of pet food and the mean old porcupine and tattle tale snail.
I didn't like So What and the Seven Giraffes. I wanted to smack So What around a bit.
Too cute. I loved it.

I chuckled all the way through this one. Not sure where I came across it, but I am so glad I did....I think it would be njoyable by kids and adults.

These short stories are retellings of fairy tales with actual animals; it had its moments where I giggled and I do want to see what the illustrations look like. I think that younger kids would love these.
