This short story read very similarly to 11/22/63 (duh same author). It was entertaining, and I didn’t want to put it down at times. This time Stephen King didn’t ruin the book by writing a mediocre ending, and I thought the story wrapped up well.

If you don't already think rats are creepy, you will after reading this novella. Couldn't move until I finished reading this dark tale.

Great body horror and gore right at the beginning - jumps into the main act immediately. A lot of suspense and foreshadowing. I didn’t like the narrator’s interpretation at times because it made things feel too comical (his voices for the son and mother, especially), but otherwise it was an absorbing and sad cautionary tale with a lot of solid horror.

Wow! This is a good novella!

This is a part of the Full Dark, No Stars short story collection. By Stephen King. This is a book that contains three short stories. This is one of them. It contains 1922, Big Driver, and A Good Marriage.

This is probably one of the most messed up things that I have ever read by Stephen King. It was pretty good, I liked it.

1922 is a horror novella by Stephen King. That is in the Full Dark, No Stars short story collection. At ~130 pages. This is a fast read, and a short one too! This is a really entertaining read! This is also a movie on Netflix!

Was horrific in the way I like, however, for a short story there were tons of gaps of very little happening other than farming, which is not very spooky, and all of the characters were straight men I dislike
