Whilst it's your pretty generic romantic comedy from afar I really enjoyed this book, it helped me escape the realities of lockdown. I was transported in to a world of fun, comedy, awkward moments we can all relate to and just some good old fashioned romance, which us singletons need during such trying times as these so we can live vicariously through such characters and moments.

Cutes easy read, a little superficial but fun.

This was a decent sweet rom com. Zero spice which is fine but also no sexual/relationship tension, which is what makes this kind of book compelling. The characters were very shallow, I don’t mean in their wants but in their lack of development. Tyler was a nice hot guy, but had not much else going on, Madison was a formerly rich girl but also didn’t have much else going on beyond liking reality TV. It actually read like the Christian romances I read as a teen all sugar no heat or depth or teeth.

I had no major complaints, except that I found Madison sometimes very annoying because while she understood she didn’t know how to do things she never checked or asked first, inexcusable in the age of google.
It made it hard to root for her sometimes.

Anyway, like I said okay book, no major problems but also not memorable or a must read.

I struggled with this book a bit - I was invested enough to keep going but had a bit of a time connecting to the characters.... not because of who they are but because of some of their internal dialogue. I get it. you shouldn't feel this way, and you feel the need to say it approximately 59 billion times through the story. I'm glad I stuck it out and liked the ending.

Nice surprise

I didn't find it as funny as others, but the surprise toward the end actually was unexpected, and it's great for lifting your mood.

Me encantó! Este era un momento justo para leer este tipo de romances y no puede amar más. Les tome mucho cariño a Madison y a Tyler y me encantaron Shay y Delia. Pidgeon es un amor

This was cute and I didn’t see the plot twist coming which is impressive for a romcom. Madison gave me Amelia Bedelia vibes because she was just so clueless about how to do normal tasks. Her family and ex were thoroughly awful villains for this story. I liked the progression of her relationship with Tyler and the conflict resolution.
