I enjoyed the author’s other book of essays more. That one felt more cohesive and poignant; this one felt more anecdotal and the food facts didn’t flow with the personal stories. Interesting but disjointed.

This book felt like a warm hug, however, at the same time, I was ready to let go about 100 pages in. it started off really good and then it just felt really repetitive.
