I'm not sure how I feel about this, I was mainly bored through it all even though the  audiobook was produced like a radio drama.

I listened to the audio book - the audio performance was 5/5. It felt like watching (or listening) to a documentary more than a book, but I think that improved my enjoyment because I felt more immersed. The story was interesting enough and there were definitely some creepy/scary moments throughout. I think if I had read this as a physical book I might have rated it a little lower, but I highly recommend the audio book because the performance was really well done.

honestly wish it was more focused on just creepy ghost stuff than the science aspects that were confusing to understand, but i also couldn’t put it down and had a lot of fun reading it

Another well-written and fun read from Craig DiLouie. If you're looking for a creepy horror that pushes its characters, while also being a fun read and doesn't take itself too seriously, this is it.

This epistolary horror novel follows the TV crew of a ghost hunting show, and for their 13th episode, they've landed one of the most haunted houses to film in. We learn about their experiences through video recordings and their crew journals.

I took off one star because there's a little plot belly in the middle and parts I felt could've been cut because they were repetitive, but overall would recommend to anyone who likes a scary story with some twists (slightly predictable).
