Loved everything about this! I do wish the first volume was longer, but it's a really good set up for more!

This feels like purely setup for the actual story and wasn't super engaging in itself. The concept and the character designs were neat though. I'd be down to check out vol. 2

(I received an E-ARC from Netgalley)
This was an enjoyable enough first volume though it felt like a little more could have happened. The art style was very enjoyable and consistent and I love the character design. A good amount of work was done world-building this post-apocalyptic / Sci-Fi setting to make it believable and make the end of this volume impactful. I enjoyed the hints of Queerness that I assume will become more prevalent in future volumes. The diversity of the cast was nice to see. I personally would have preferred this to have been maybe 40 pages longer and give us a little more depth to the characters and begin our journey that the end of this volume hinted at.

This was a fun little comic. I liked the characters and it is a solid start to a series. I'm interested in the world Woodall introduced us to and I am eager to find out more about these characters. Not a ton happened in this first volume other than basic introduction but I'm definitely interested. I really liked the dynamic that was established between the characters as well. The sort of sisterly bond some of them shared. This definitely has the potential to be an amazing series and I'm excited to see what comes next.

I really wasn't engaged until the very end, but it has some nice artwork and a Bull Nakano reference so I can't hate it. A solid foundation for future stories though.
