Honestly, the Purple arc is pretty disappointing. The TV series did a pretty good job with Killgrave and Jessica and I was expecting the comics to have handled it similarly, but they just kind of brush over it. I was surprised by how short this arc is. The heavy use of flashbacks also made the series pretty flat/static.

This really, really wasn't my cup of tea. Whole lot of consent issues, doubled with a level of perception and women as objects, tripled with self shame, guilt and emotional rape. All of this done in away that isn't really what I need to be shown and told. Read it because I like Jessica Jones. The graphic style grew on me from the last arc but the text... atgg. I need a clean my mind. Add to the pile the way the story is told almost all in flashback and in telling mode. Static and ordinary.
