Excellent read—Wes's character in particular frequently had me chuckle or even full belly laugh in response to their quips. A wonderful story of finding yourself, your truth, and learning to come to terms with the end of friendships that no longer suit you amongst new ones that do.

As far as the content warning (sexual assault) goes: it was difficult and graphic at times. I occasionally felt really sensitive to the details used and they did have physically adverse effects for me. But it never felt like a trope or done for shock factor, all details and flashbacks felt authentic to Sav's experiences.

Very heavy, but very well-constructed. It was a bit of a slow start, but in no time I grew attached to the whole cast of characters. Absolutely worth reading if you’re queer!

I wanted to like this book a lot more than I did. It was a difficult read due to the constant thoughts and flashbacks to the MCs previous sexual assault. This book is heavy with a little queer joy sprinkled in.

Absolutely loved this. The dissonance between the present and past was impeccable, and it set this really uncomfortable tone of "everything is normal" and also "nothing can really be normal again." A wonderful breadth of queer characters with complex identities in the story and on the page. A powerful gut punch on the topic of SA and violence against women. It made me seeth and sob. So very, very well done.
