A fun, fast paced steampunk western with vampires, pirates, a prison break, and scheming royalty. There is a lot going on in this book, and it gets somewhat chaotic. I found it kind of hard to follow at times, but that may be because I was listening to the audiobook. Overall, I felt it started strong, and finished strong, but the middle could use some polishing. I do wish there had been more female characters.
The narrator did a good job and I enjoyed listening.
