I thought the writing style was a bit stilted and clunky at first. Switched to the audio version and sped through it.

Amazing book on the cultural history of mosses and the teachings that could easily be used as a metaphor not only for other plants but also the "real world". Kimmerer cannot do anything wrong and she especially writes so well about plants and the knowledge she's learned along the way.

I just love Robin Wall Kimmerer's writing. Only she can write a book about moss that is engaging, informative, and somehow emotional too??? I am looking forward to spending more time looking closely at the tinier parts of the natural world.
