Ada Limón stuns me every time. I read Sharks in the Rivers years ago and loved it. So happy to see her now as US Poet Laureate. Her poems are always so subtly dark and raw. This collection deeply resonated.

I really liked some of them but I couldn't connect to many. I liked the writing style and I'm inclined to read more of her poems. The themes are good as well.
