A beautiful, engaging, easy-to-read story that I will be sharing time and time again at bedtime with my five and seven year old daughters. We often hear debate about why there isn't more diversity in children's literature, why more characters and protagonists can't represent a wider range of demographics etc...well here is the solution! Daddy Do My Hair? is a series of books celebrating diversity, children's right to be accepted, self-esteem and confidence, natural hair, beauty, but also fatherhood and parenting. This is a book that needed to be written...and here it is. So buy it and share it with those you love!
