The old fashioned “there is only one and you should know” part of me had a hard time with the first half of this book. Logically, I understand that they were no together-together, but the romantic in me who hates cheating of any kind is struggling with it. I know it wasn’t really cheating. Their marriage was an agreement between two friends for a specific purpose. That still doesn’t make it easy for me, especially because she knew she was in love with him for so long and he kept living his life not knowing about it. I guess what I am saying here is that who I am as a person has a hard time reconciling all of the things that went down in this book. I want it to be immediate, total commitment and it wasn’t that. Definitely a me problem, but it made it hard to really get behind thins story.

Also, I would really call this a romantic comedy.

Not for me.

They are fake married so he can get a green card, she really likes him and they are seeing other people.

I just don't like this set up. I am not keen on the Hero or heroine being with others after they meet each other, esp when they are at close quarters.
That said there are no intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
