This was probably my favourite book in this series today. Featuring commentary around some key social issues including date rape, HIV and the thin line we all walk between doing well and homelessness, this book was informative without being preachy. With a missing child, a murdered mother and a diverse homeless community to deal with P.I. Jeri Howard digs into everyone's lives, giving all potential suspect the same treatment, regardless of their financial or living situation.
