Love this series

I loved the Maggie O'Dell series, then when Alex Kava spun off Ryder Creed, I couldn't have been happier. The mystery is engaging, the characters are very relatable and how can you not love the animals!

I am a big fan of this series but I am tired of storylines where the main character(s) are abducted or injured while they are searching. I much prefer when the team is together and using their searching and investigation skills to find the missing or the bad guys. It’s much less interesting to focus on captured sequences and chapters told from p.o.v. of bad guys. Others in this series are excellent … this one is not.
