The first half was good but starting to get slow then the plot shifted completely. Not at all what I was expecting but definitely enjoyed the story

 So this book went in a totally different direction than j thought it would... It definitely wasn’t what I expected after reading the description, but I enjoyed it. Daphne was a decent character, but like lots of books, I would have enjoyed spending more time with other characters besides her. I also think the book just kind of ended without really tying up all the loose ends? I wish we had gotten more of an extended ending where we could have found out more about what happened and how things wound up for the other characters.
