Man, oh man. Well, I was still not quite liking book 1, at the end of it, I was shown the next book. By that point I was in too deep to even think twice before buying book 2 and reading the heck out of it. I liked it more, and I was more into the story by then, I just kept reading and reading, I finished it on the same day. This book series will wreck you, even if you don't like it.

Part 2 is so much more fast paced. I'm way more intrigued as to what is really going on with 'Shrimp' and what ties they have with both Silas and Charlies families. It's offical, Colleen and Tarryn have my full attention!! I need answers. Now.

Lo leí en plena madrugada porque no podía parar de leer hasta saber que sucedía con ellos. Me enamoré de Silas bebé. 3 voy por ti.

I bought this straight after reading the first book. Much in the vein of part one, we follow Charlie and Silas in trying to work out what's happening to them and why. This time, however, they have the handwritten notes they made at the end of part one.

Charlie and Silas are separated in this book and Charlie is having flashbacks/dreams about the two of them, yet why is still a mystery. A few questions are answered, but by the time the book is finished (this is a one sitting read people), we're left with a dozen more.

I still can't work out what the hell is going on, and the ending provides NO clues. (Part Three isn't out until next year)

I loved the fact that Silas involved his brother and trusted him, rather than it merely being him and Charlie on their own. The interactions between the two of them were well written and believable. However, I'm not sure who they can trust, and while I enjoyed reading about the secondary characters, I am reserving judgement on them all until I find out what the hell is going on.

The thrill and action that had me flying through Part One were present in this book, but they were both more subtle and light-handed. This installment was more of Silas' POV which showed us how much he cared about Charlie, despite not really knowing her and their past.

I NEED part Three...

What a confusing and intriguing plot. Loved it, but really want book 3.
