Better than some series, worse than others. I like that there were more clues dropped than in the [b:Whodunit Detective Agency book|23281722|The Mummy Mystery #5|Martin Widmark|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1418765119s/23281722.jpg|14128378], but this isn't really a series that needs talking up. Even for a book written in 2003, this is bafflingly dated.
