This deliciously teasing morsel is the perfect addition to a fun, flirty series. Kendall Ryan manages to capture your attention whether its a full novel or not.

The Bed Mate is a quick hit of friends to ...possibilities. It's sweet and packed with plenty of longing.

The Bed Mate by Kendall Ryan is a short novella that takes place in her Roommates series, but it is a standalone story. I love Kendall Ryan's books, and this one was sweet and a great quick read. Maggie and Sam are best friends that have always had something between them, but with Maggie having a boyfriend as well as Sam dating other girls nothing has ever happened between them. Both have never acknowledged that there is anything more than friendship there, but when Maggie finds her boyfriend with someone else, things begin to change for her and Sam.

I really liked these two. The connection and chemistry was there for them the whole way through, and it was clear that they were good together. With a novella being shorter than a novel, I always struggle a bit because it's hard to find a relationship believable in such a short amount of time. Sam and Maggie's relationship was already somewhat established though, and I didn't have any trouble believing that their relationship was genuine. It felt right and these two felt like they belonged together.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. I loved the setting of snow and winter fun, and while it isn't a holiday story it really put me in the mood for all things winter. Kendall Ryan is a great writer and I have enjoyed everything I have read from her, especially this series. If you are a bit short on time or are just looking for a great quick light read, I would recommend giving The Bed Mate a shot. Kendall Ryan is a go to author for me, and I always look forward to getting lost in one of her books. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

I love the roommate series.

The Bed Mate is another friends to lovers kind of book. I enjoyed it because of the MC's, Sam and Maggie. They met in college and became quick friends. Both of them haven't had successful relationships and they never let them interfere with their friendship. So, I was just casually twiddling my thumbs for them to take a chance on one another.

Now of course, one of them has had a crush on the other. Sam, my man, has been in love with Maggie for a while. So when she breaks up with her cheating ex, he buys her a ticket out to Colorado. Where he is vacationing.. so ya know what's going to happen right? RIGHT!

Smut on glorious smut. I loved it! Their chemistry was amazing and I could totally see the whole risking friendship being a huge factor for them not to dive into this. However, I am so happy that they took that giant ass leap. I loved these two and I can't wait to dive into the next book of the roommate series. I don't think I have read them all (yet).

This was an adorable novella. It was somewhat of an insta love, but at the same time these two had been friends for 8 years so the love had been brewing for quite a while. There was plenty of chemistry and lots of ribbing from friends about them finally getting together. Kendall Ryan wrote a great story and I definitely recommend it.

A sweet friends to lovers quickie. Maggie and Sam have been friends for years, but they’ve never been single at the same time until now. An enjoyable tale that will warm your heart on a chilly New Year’s Eve.

Loved it! This was a sweet fun friends to lovers romance you don’t want to miss reading.
Maggie and Sam are characters that were relatable. I liked how even though this is a novella, it was filled with enough romance that was entertaining, angsty and sexy. Their story can easily be a full length novel and I would love to have more of them.

This is a super cute novella. Friends to lovers trope. Sam and Maggie have been best friends since college, and Sam has loved her for just as long. Sam and Maggie are absolutely adorable. This is a sweet, short novella with just the right amount of angst and chemistry.
