not much to say about this, it literally had the spoiler as a title but i know it’s gonna be my comfort read (coming of age, sad ending, gay romance) don’t come after me. it’s about two strangers meet, get deeply connected, and spend their end day together -sounds like a great scenario for me. somehow every moment between the two seems simple but felt special. i mean, they both die at the end.

Slow paced to an extreme degree, so much so that it become very boring. The characters were both uninteresting. The author simply tried far too hard to relate to modern audiences (“Hashtag not happening” like really? Is this what we call good writing?) I’m aware that it transpires into a forced romance too, and that’s frustrating to me. There is so much better LGBTQ+ media out there I’d suggest people go read instead.

the fact that this book took me so long to get there should be an indicator that it was not my favorite thing in the world. it wasn't awful, but it was so slow and took me way longer than it should have. it could have been better if it was a faster pace.

I loved this book.

Nothing can explain the emotions I felt at the end of it when I finished reading it. There was nothing specially to keep me intrigued in the book, but nothing bored me, I definitely underestimated Adam Silvera’s writing.

Thank you;

and please, always hug your family and friends.
