Well, I've read enough of it. A wonderful resource full of some of the biggest, important names in the field. The prof used it more as a supplement to a hand-picked coursepack. I'm willing to let anybody borrow this book, and if they love it more than I do, they can keep it. Right now it sits, satisfied, between a fat tome on critical literary theory and a two volume Norton Anthology of some kind of poetry or other.
