I have read several other books in a series. I liked this one but this is not my favorite in the series. I love how they take real history and change it just slightly. They're very honest about what they change but it makes it more funny and more appealing sometimes 👍

This was such a fun romp through literature and history. I continue to love this series.

With every one of these authors’ retellings I read I am continually in awe of the level of creativity in them. Even after reading 5 of their books, I am not able to predict the premise or what will happen next. The humor, references, and 4th wall breaks are all so well done despite not being very common in other books I’ve read. I am interested to see where they go after the Mary series is over if they choose to continue.
