this was my favorite poet from *this bridge called my back* so i wanted to know more about them. this text is full of the very familiar playfully angry tone that typifies postcolonial aesthetics. full of smart irreverence and focussed on challenging power. great stuff!

I love this book of poetry it is awesome. I've been reading it cover-to-cover, over and over. i just can't say enough beautiful things about this book. It's full of love and hope without being cheesy at all.
