While this book has a primary focus on the UK, I see it as an essential read for any amateur or professional ornithologist, birder, bird lover and environmental activist. Very inspiring.

Definitely pitched at a bird history lover. I found it a bit tedious and learnt only a few interesting things… but I’m not a historian.
