This is the third book that I’ve read by S.L. Scott, and I’m saddened to say that it didn’t meet the same standards as the other two books, [b: We Were Once] and [b: Never Got Over You].

I love the amnesia trope, so I’m always excited to find a book featuring it. That being said, it can be slim pickings, so I go into each book with the whole “beggars can’t be choosers” mentality. Unfortunately said mentality didn’t sustain me this time around, and I ended up skimming the majority of this book.

There were so many—Nay!—there were too many plot holes for me to overlook. It’s one thing for a story to be OTT, but it's another matter completely when the plot elements have the structural integrity of a house of cards. Plot convenience seemed to be the go to method of the author when it came to telling the story. If I started to list specific examples from the book this would quickly turn into a rant.

Right after plot conveniences, clichés were the next overused element. The amnesiac FMC actually says this to the MMC:

“I probably shouldn’t tell you everything I’m feeling, but there’s something between us that makes me want to open up when I’m around you.”

Let’s not forget her cringey (in my opinion) thought right before she says that:

Ben took her hand in his, and she admitted to herself that it was comforting. He treated her with kid gloves, so careful as if she’d break before him.

Sorry, but that’s not my cup of tea when it comes to FMCs.

Cute amnesia book with suspense. Really feel the love Ben has for Grace and his pain at his loss. Ben finds a way to continue life without Grace but quickly realizes it was just a plan B. His so called girlfriend wasn't that close. Grace finds the man she thought saved her was really holding her identity from her. She falls in love with Ben memory or not and together they learn of the doctor's horrible actions. And Ben and Grace live happily ever after.

If I ever lost, please call Ben to find me. Even with my memory gone, in my heart I know he is my perfect book boyfriend.

Missing Grace is a second chance love story between Ben and Grace. They got seperates by accident and Grace lost her memory. With a love in his heart, Ben never give up finding her. Although I wish Miss Scott can dramatized the story better, I still enjoy this book very much.

Such a romantic story.

I think this could have been so much better if it weren't told from the authors point of view. I liked the story, was a bit different from other stories but I got bored here and there and it's just mostly just because of the style it was written in. Other than that it was great.

Missing Grace is one of my FAVORITE of S.L. Scott to date!!! There aren't enough stars for this one.

I'm going to be pretty tight lipped because I don't want to give anything away. I will warn you that you might need tissues. I kid you not, I probably used a whole box I was so emotional!!

I felt like this book played in my mind like a movie. This SHOULD be a movie!! It'll be right up there with The Notebook. It was so incredibly romantic in large part to BEN EDWARDS. I. LOVE. BEN. My book husband is already taken, but Ben is my #1 book boyfriend. I've never swooned so hard before.

Trust me, you're going to want to read this!!!

Great story I really enjoyed. Something different than your typical boy meets girl. Spoiler alert, I just wish we maybe got one chapter at the end from Barnes POV to see what he really felt and thought and the why
