Decently written, and I've had some pleasure reading it (mostly guilty). 

Though cruelties, coldness and injustices happened all the time, only Marmalade incident was IT for me. Really? W H Y

Ok, poor little meow meow suffered, unseen and underpreciated, such a shame. In this matter, I can relate. But all in all this story feels mean-spirited. 

  Also withdrawal is not a reliable method of contraception. And servants are not idiots.

 

Mary Bennet deserves better.
