An absolutely delightful story about a half-vampire, half-lumberjack young person who has to make a bit choice about what to do next in life. Will he follow in the footsteps of his vampire father? Or will he become an entrepreneur like his lumberjack mother? Or will he learn to follow his heart and passions to figure out what HE wants?

Wonderful art, a sweet story, and wholesome themes and messages throughout that will resonate with young people everywhere!

Sweet, if not a wordy story about Jack who is half lumberjack and half vampire. Why there are no other hybrids around, IDK. This story reminded me of Isadora Moon, another half vampire half other creature.
Jack must determine for himself which school he wants to go to, and stay true to himself and his half-heritage.

This middle grade enough graphic novel was adorable. It follows Jackula on his quest to pick his next level of schooling. Does he go to the lumberjack school that his mom went to or the vampire school that his dad went to? This is a cute story about family and friends and making the best choices for yourself.

I read this as part of my school’s challenge for the beehive book awards that are in Utah.

Youngest niece and nephew “don’t have the attention span” for reading (they said this themselves). So guess what everyone’s getting for Christmas. Books out the wazoo.

Pre-reading as many of them as I can so I know what they’re all about and can get them hyped.

We met the author Matt at our local B&N signing books today and we had to pick this up for our Niece. It’s so freaking cute. I had a smile on my face from start to finish!

This was such a cute graphic novel and i loved that it both had halloween elements and also the elements of finding yourself and choosing where you belong and making choices about your future it also had an adorble art style that just made me smile!! This was a pefect early fall read between the halloween style charactrers and also the back to school elements!
