If you are ready for a goofy, campy, barely-there story with semi-classic comic art, this is a good fit. (I will say the look of the main character is too goofy for my taste, even with the wide berth I was giving this.) I don't mind the "cat facts" but I wish they were better incorporated into the story rather than presented as footnotes (though footnotes are a more honest approach).

Especially after reading Atwood's intro, this feels like a thinly veiled ad campaign for keeping cats indoors. I personally agree indoor cats are better all around but I don't know if this is the right medium to spread that message more broadly. It's not really a kid friendly story (and they're not the ones who choose if their cat is indoor or outdoor), and it's just plain not enough of a story to engage adults. But if you set that whole thing aside and just lean into the silliness, it's fun.

Though other reviewers have a point about the portrayal of women--that's pretty "classic comic book", too, and not in a good way.
