It’s hard to write a review for a book that reminds you how incompetent we are when it comes to climate change. The narrative is that we’ve been having these conversations for 50 years now and still haven’t made near enough progress. It’s maddening. And when you add the details and context from conversations and events of how these efforts have been thwarted over and over it’s incomprehensible. Insightful and a stark reminder of the uphill battle ahead to cause meaningful change. A must read.

Full honesty, if you quizzed me about the content of the book I would fail. I’m not good at listening to non-fiction

Coming Back when I have the mental space to read this and not feel so depressed immediately after. Very good book, but unfortunately the truth of our treatment of this planet is horrific.
