The ideas are solid. The writing is clunky but I say that about most fiction written decades before I was born. Didn't find the characters particularly compelling but the ideas are there and at the end of the day ideas are where sci-fi reigns supreme.

Great ideas, sloppy execution, incredibly wooden dialogue. A rare example of a film adaptation far exceeding the source material.

Cannot believe how good it was. This is a book I will be thinking about very often. The ending really reinforced the theme of the book for me. I can see why it's such a classic.

I liked it! With the movie in mind, I saw the book visually.

Really compelling read

So much better than the movie. Really glad I read this. It raises questions about the nature of life and the meaning of empathy in a way that stays with you.

It's hard to judge a work that has been so influential in its genre. Great idea but the story feels a bit flat. There isn't much tension or conflict, everything seems to just fall in place.
