i ended up enjoying this book a lot more than i thought i would; so well written i forgot that the main character wasn't real, helped show people with disabilities in a new perspective, and showed the main characters relationships grow closer through this whole journey. i also enjoyed how it didnt have some miraculous, unrealistic happy ending, although i am still kind of sad about them not being able to be reunited all together as a family
