This is one of my favorites of the 13 book series. I think this is actually #1. Their guardian was such a great and interesting man, and this was the first time count Olaf disguised himself to get to their money and kill him

Sunny’s relationship with the incredibly deadly viper was so sweet! And the ending page was quite sad, but this book was definitely more witty than the first! I listened to the audiobook (narrated by Tim Curry - he’s so good!) and I laughed a lot, despite the themes of the book. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next book!
