This sort of poetry was a first. Well-played, Mr. Key.

This is certainly one of the weirdest books I've read this year. It was an impulse buy in a charity shop and while I was pretty familiar with Tim Key's comedy, I still didn't really know what to expect from this. It's a collection of short, surreal poems with amusingly unrelated footnotes. There were a fair few poems that left me indifferent but lots of them were very funny. It's not a book to read in big chunks (I think because it's so strange it gets a bit exhausting) but it was fun overall.
