A nice short story starring all of your favorite people from the Septimus Heap series, which I know I am going to have to go and read again and this time I'll actually finish the series so that I can start on Pathfinder.

A great story that follows Septimus around on Halloween even though neither he nor Marcia know it! They go to the port where there is a huge party going on. At the same time Simon is serving DomDaniel and also has to go to the port coven witches. As always there is a great big dose of humor mixed with just enough spookeyness to make you read this book quickly to make sure everyone makes it out ok.

A great book for fans of the series!! I can only hope that she keeps writing!

Just couldn’t really get into this one. There were too many characters for me to remember while listening on audiobook, and I don’t think I was paying close enough attention. It also didn’t play much into the plot, so I felt like I didn’t really need to read it, especially since I had already moved past when this story happened in the timeline.
