I actually liked this better than dracula, it was very vibey and easy to read and understand. Plus there was a lesbian vampire? From a book published in the 1800s? You can't beat it. It's so short that it's easily worth the time. It went pretty overboard describing things at times and said a few things repeatedly, which sucked because the book was already so short as is.

the vibes were there. the beginning was built well; interesting and mysterious. the rest of the book was rather disappointing. the reveal was boring, the plot was boring.

A sapphic vampire is the inspiration for Dracula and I’m just now finding that out???
This book is 100 pages and honestly I wish it was longer but it tells a very haunting story in a short timeframe. Wish it was gayer.

I love the way this is written, but it was way too short!!! I am actually begging someone to write a modern interpretation of this book and expand on it, like i would actually die for that.
