I loved Mike in all the books so far and in this one it was no different - he‘s just such a cutie. I just found Hailey a bit annoying. (But she was nicer than Danica, that’s for sure)

Mike and Hailey’s story was great!!! He is such a golden retriever (in the best way) and deserves to finally have met his match. Another Jamie Shaw winner.

Can you see all the hearts floating around me and the ones shining in my eyes? They're there, I know it, because Mike Madden is PERFECTION personified and I LOVE him! He was always my favorite but after reading Havoc, favorite doesn't feel like a strong enough word anymore. Obsession may be better suited.

Jamie Shaw's Havoc is everything I could have ever hoped for. I love love loved it. I did not want to stop reading. I had to force myself to slow down so it wouldn't end too fast. The fourth and final book in the Mayhem series (*whimpers) is filled with love, humor, angst and great character chemistry. Mike and Hailey are too cute together and so very compatible. I adore Hailey. Her mannerism and insecurities made her so relatable. She's the sweetest and a great match up for Mike.... *Swoon Mike. That sweet talented drummer who'd rather play video games than hook up with a groupie, melted my heart. I wanted his story the second, I met him in Mayhem. I was NOT disappointed. Gah! I just want to hug him. He's such a good guy. Oh yeah and he's also H-O-T hot! (BEST GUY EVER!!) Although, that should come as no surprise since all the members of The Last Ones to Know are crazy gorgeous.

I'm so sad to see this series come to an end. These Last Ones to Know boys and their girls left a huge lasting impression in my soul. <3 I one hundred percent recommend this book! Believe me, you won't regret it.

The Mayhem series ends with a sweet bang. Loved seeing all the guys end up right where they should be. Well done, Jamie!

Sexy drummer alert!

Mike Madden has a special place in his heart for 'the one' and thought his high school sweetheart Danica was that woman. The result? She broke his heart. When, after many years Danica appears again, he wonders if the spark he had for her was still there. Only she's changed...he's changed too. Filled with guilt, he distracts himself for the remainder of the night with Hailey, who is patiently waiting for Danica. His ex's cousin is a breath of fresh air...the one he's been waiting for. Only, Danica's wants him back!

After her cousin Danica coerced her into attending a rock concert, Hailey didn't expect to spend the remainder of the night on a tour bus, gaming with the drummer...her cousin's boyfriend. With plenty of common interests, they become fast friends as they continue their online friendship secretly. When Danica becomes suspicious about Mike and Hailey, Mike declares his true feelings for Hailey sending both women into an emotional turmoil!!

Oh, how I loved Mike. He's a reluctant rock star drummer of an Internationally renowned rock band. He's grounded, sweet and full of humour. When he meets Hailey, he instantly knows she's the one he's been waiting for. He will make your heart swoon with his romantic gestures and his sheer determination to win over her heart.

Hailey is sweet and Mike is perfect for her but needs to gently persuade her, unaware their relationship could ruin her future ambitions. She's caught between a rock and a hard place, torn between her cousin and wanting to devote time to the man she loves. However, when it looks like Danica has backed her into a corner, Hailey comes out fighting, taking control of her emotions and her future. A gamble that pays off.

Danica plays the part of the jealous woman perfectly. She's convincingly nasty in her role to obstruct and destroy her cousin's tentative relationship with her man! She was a perfect villain and along with the rest of the band and Hailey's brother, creates an entertaining contrast to the protagonist's romance.

I'm new to the Mayhem series and Jamie Shaw's writing. The plot flows effortlessly, keeping my interest the whole time. Mike's a refreshingly and original rock star hero. Now I need to catch-up with the rest of the band.
