This was a fairly short, action packed read with a competent, professional protagonist in Carrie that I am keen to learn more about. In terms of the story I liked the overall story arc but there were several missions, packed quite tightly on top of one another and while all were resolved quickly they were not all necessary or relevant to the overall story arc. I would have preferred fewer missions and more in-depth development of the inter-related missions and character interaction. Would definitely be interested in reading more about Carrie and I understand she is a character from this author’s other series so will be checking that one out too.
