It normally takes a lot for me to read anything besides straight up prose, but this little book was absolutely wonderful! Lyn Hejinian is actually my professor right now and one of the grad students that leads discussion section for the lecture suggested we look at her work and so I found this at the library. There were certain passages that resonated in some weird, incredible way, like this passage where she talks about our greed for experience, how we think other people's stories have happened to us because we want to possess that experience. The book is filled with small, everyday revelations like this one; plus, the language was beautiful.
