While I enjoyed this book and it’s really informative and takes you through basically every single event and piece of evidence that led up to the crime and the aftermath… I felt it was way too long. It took me forever to finish it because things are repeated over and over and over again. Also, there are so many names and people involved in the story that eventually you forget who is who other than the main family members. Which I suppose isn’t the authors fault but that also made it difficult to follow and keep up with what was happening.

However, it’s clear that gregg Olson worked his ass off to research this case and as far as I know left nothing out of it which I appreciate I just feel it could have been about 100 pages shorter than it ended up being. Hence the 3.5 rating. An interesting case for sure and Olsen’s writing is clear and easy to follow but prepare to be in it for the long haul.
