I’ve read this book multiple times, cried every one. Definitely a must read despite being one of the most heart wrenching stories I’ve come across

I really love this book. I first read it when I was in middle school but it’s the kind of boom that I keep rereading every couple of years. I love how real it feels and how it really makes you feel angry and scared and trapped, just like the characters in the book do.

When I first read this as a child, it was the first time I felt not alone in my experiences. Very well done inside look into what living as an oldest sibling in an unsafe household is like.
