The Decadent Gift is the third book in The Gift series by the talented Lauren Blakely. The After Dark books are so steamy, sexy and fun and I've been looking forward to Jake and Kate's story! Friends who have been attracted to each other for a while and finally act on it. It's just one weekend. One weekend full of sexiness, role playing and conversation. But what happens when the weekend is over? Will Jake let Kate go without a fight? OH boy! The sexiness is off the charts! I had the pleasure of listening to The Decadent Gift on audio and Teddy and Elena were so great as Jake and Kate. Sexy and fun and perfect. Special appearances by Jacob Morgan, Vanessa Edwin and Grace Grant just made it better and better for me! Some of my favorites all in one place! I also loved getting extra little stories in there and I can't wait for the next one!

I kinda loved this, Kate is a people watcher but she is more intense about it. She kind of pegs the people she is watching and it’s a little bit fascinating. I love that her fantasy/kink is something that she excels at.
You could tell the sparks when she and Jake are in the same place. They fit and I think that is what I liked best. He knew just want to say and make it not feel weird for her at all. I loved that.
It made me feel like he just gets her and I love books that never make the other character feel awkward of odd for something they like.
The 2 small shorts at the end of this book also were fantastic do I wish we had more from the rocket scientist yes but it was still a great listen.
The narration as always was perfection; I look forward to listening because you know it will be an utter delight in our ears.

Think I’m burned out on Lauren Blakely books. I liked the first two books in the series, but this one didn’t really do it for me. I found myself wishing it was over. And then when it switched from the original main characters to other stories, I really wished it was over.

I love every book in this entire series and The Decadent Gift is no exception! Jake and Kate’s story is SO hot and intense, I could not put this book down! I love how Jake and Kate are so open and honest with each other and their pasts stay right where they are, in the past. I enjoyed getting to see all my favorite characters make cameos in this book as well! This story is undeniably sexy, decadent and a MUST read!

I have been waiting for this book since first meeting Jake and Kate in book one. The Decadent Gift was everything I wanted and everything I didn’t know I needed.
Jake and Kate are friends, there is a mutual attraction between them. So, what happens when the decide to have that one weekend, no strings attached? LOADS of explosive CHEMISTRY and plenty of HEAT! These two have amazing chemistry and plenty of amazing banter.
Kate is strong, hardworking and knows what she wants. Jake is hard working, knows what he likes and a great friend. These two are perfect for each other. There is an easy flow between them, nothing about their friendship or relationship feels forced. Kate brings down her guard when it comes to Jake, she easily shares all her deepest desires and Jake isn’t one to back down from helping out a friend, especially one like Kate.
If you’re looking for a quick read that is full of chemistry, banter and plenty of HEAT then you’ll want to pick up The Decadent Gift. Another amazing addition to the Lauren Blakely After Dark collection.

I thoroughly enjoy Kate and Jake. I love how these two heat up the page. Their chemistry is just fantastic! I love how well the fit together and it made for such an enjoyable read. I really enjoy the side characters we get a bit of a taste of at then end of the book and really liked that add on. It felt like I got an extra bonus!
