Lab Rats tells us the story of Dr. Diana Lutz a werewolf who’s brother outed werewolves on television. Diana is determined to find and save her brother from being tested and tortured by the government. This is a battle against time. She never expected to find her mate along the way. This is a sexy and exciting story with a surprising ending.

This book was a big disappointment. I was hoping for an adventurous romance, with a bit of danger because of the whole danger to the species aspect, but what I got was a badly explained plot. Justin’s reaction was completely out of proportion and yet it wasn’t explained properly. I also really disliked Ben as a character. He was constantly blaming Diana for the attraction he felt for her and belittling her for being a female, which is despicable. Afterwards the whole thing was just ignored, because “mates”. To me, the whole book felt like lazy writing.
